Fixes #66 by using upToDateWhen to indicate the launcher manifest download task is never up-to-date. To mitigate the re-download, use If-Modified-Since in all HTTP download requests if the target file already exists.
The
@DisableCachingByDefault
only disabled the file-cache, but not the up-to-date check. That means the task will still not be run if Gradle thinks that it is up-to-date (which it usually will be). For immutable files like the version-manifests, this doesn't matter, but for the launcher manifest which will change over time, this causes it to never be updated.This does currently not use DownloadFileAction, since there's no way to return any information from the workqueue. This means I cannot set
didWork
accordingly.
